Police confirm that a vehicle was struck by gunfire.
FREDERICK, MD. (LG) The Frederick Police Department is continuing its investigation into several calls received on Thursday about gunshots being fired in the area of Carrollton Drive and Prospect Blvd.
In a press release, authorities said officers arrived and spoke with several witnesses, who confirmed that several shots had been fired. Police said they did not locate anyone who had been injured by the gunfire, but authorities did confirm that a vehicle had been struck.
The incident happened in the 400 and 500 blocks of Carrollton Drive.
