Frederick, MD- 1/30/2019 (RD) According to the National Weather Service, a wind advisory is in effect from 9 AM until 6 PM for our area, We can expect winds of 20 to 30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH making driving difficult.
Strong winds may blow down, limbs, trees, and power lines. Scattered power outages may be expected. Snow squalls are also possible today, . These squalls may enhance damaging wind gusts. There is another enhanced winter storm threat Friday along the Allegheny Front. The primary threat will be a disruption to travel.
