Missing Hagerstown Man Found Dead In West Virginia

Police say  all indications are that it was murder.

 

 

Hagerstown, Md (KM) Hagerstown Police are continuing their investigation of a missing man who turned up dead.

Authorities say the family of Christopher Turner, 27, reported him missing on Wednesday, January 23rd. They had last seen him three days earlier.

Hagerstown Police says they began treating Turner’s disappearance as a homicide and began in investigation. Detectives say  they interviewed numerous people and followed up on a number leads. They found his car on the wast end of the city on Thursday, January 24th.

The Berkeley County, West Virginia Sheriff’s Office notified Hagerstown Police on Wednesday of this week about a body found in their jurisdiction. It turned out to be Turner, and police say all indications are that he was murdered.

Turner’s body has been taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Charleston, West Virginia for an autopsy.
