Gaithersburg, Md. (DG) – Two women were hospitalized after a vicious dog attack in Montgomery Village on Saturday night.
Police responded to a home in the 18000 block of Singing Pine Circle for an assault shortly before 9 p.m.
When they arrived, they found one woman had escaped the home, but the other victim was still inside being attacked by two dogs.
Police saw the attack still going on, and they entered the home. Both dogs were shot and killed.
The victims’ injuries were significant but non-life-threatening.
Police are still investigating the incident.
