Officials says it’s only a drill.
Frederick, Md. Hood College says an active shooter drill will take place on campus on Wednesday morning, February 6th beginning at 8:45. The school says the drill will allow campus safety personnel to assess any vulnerabilities, and for students, faculty and staff to gain awareness of what to do in case of a active shooter at the college. .
When the Hood Alert is sent out to begin the drill, the college says the school community is expected to shelter in place. The Hood Alert will be sent out again when the drill is ended.
