The Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect.
Myersville, Md (KM) The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect who robbed the Sunoco gas station at 9630 Main Street in Myersville on Saturday.
Authorities say a man entered the establishment armed with box cutter, and demanded money. The clerk handed him an undisclosed amount of cash from register. The suspect fled in a dark colored sedan. .
He’s described as a white male, about six-feet tall, between 250 and 300 pounds, with short brown hair and a large bald spot on the back of his head. He was wearing a brown sweatshirt, red undershirt, light blue jeans, black and white shoes, and a red handkerchief or rag tied around his face, exposing only his eyes. The clerk told authorities that man had a very aggressive manner.
Deputies were dispatched to the scene to conduct a search, but the suspect was not found.
Detectives are reviewing surveillance video from several nearby establishments for additional information on the suspect and the suspect’s vehicle.
