State agencies will be closed.
Fredeirick, Md (KM) Frederick County government offices and the public libraries will be open on President’s Day, Monday, February 18th.
Curbside recycling will operate on normal schedules, and the County Landfill will be open from 7:00 AM until 4:30 PM.
All Maryland state offices will be closed, including the Board of Elections and the Department of Social Services.
Some Frederick County Health Department offices will be closed, including Administration, Behavioral Health Services, Community Health Services, Environmental Health Services, Health Care Connection and Preparedness, Mental Health Services, and the Office of Planning, Assessment and Communication. But Audiology Services, the Dental Program, and Infants and Toddlers Program and School Health Offices will be open, unless announced otherwise.
Animal Control will be open for the showing and adoption of animals from 10:00 AM till 5:00 PM.
TransIT will operate on a regular schedule, but all MARC Train and Commuter Bus Service are canceled for Monday.
