Baltimore, Md (KM) Two suspects arrested in Frederick County over the weekend following a traffic stop are suspects in a homicide in Baltimore.
Police say warrants have been issued for Efrain Torres–Eusebio, 21, and Jose Santiago-Miguel, 20, charging them with 1st-degree murder, assault and handgun-related offenses.
The two were taken into custody early Sunday morning by State Police in Frederick following a traffic stop on Interstate 70. Troopers found two loaded handguns, 8.9-grams of cocaine, 8.9-grams of marijuana, and $14,000 in cash.
Torres-Eusebio is charged with having a handgun on his person, having a handgun in a vehicle, using a firearm in a drug trafficking crime, possession of marijuana and possession of drugs (not marijuana). Santiago-Miguel is charged with having a loading handgun on a person, having a loaded handgun in a vehicle, possession of firearms by a minor, possession of a firearm in a drug trafficking crime, use of a firearm in a felony crime, possession of drugs (not marijuana) and possession of marijuana.
Baltimore Police say the two are suspected in the shooting death of Santos Medrano on Saturday.
