Woman Injured In Restaurant Fire In Carroll County

Damage totals $500,000.

 

Sykesville, Md (KM) One woman was taken to the hospital for injuries from a fire Tuesday night in Sykesville.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says 40 fire fighters responded at 7:47 PM to the one-alarm blaze at Bolen’s Bull Pen restaurant at 19 Old Liberty Road, and spent 40-minutes bringing the flames under control. Damage to the one-story, carryout establishment was $150,000 to the structure, and $350,000 to the contents. .

Fire marshals says the fire originated in the roof, but the cause remains under investigation. Anyone who has information on this fire is asked to contact the Northeast Regional Office of the State Fire Marshal at 410-836-4844.

Officials say the woman taken to the hospital had non-life threatening injuries.
