Five Arrested In Frederick On Handgun Offenses Following Traffic Stop

Police also found drugs in their vehicle.

 

 

Frederick, Md (KM) Five men were charged with weapons offenses following a traffic stop in Frederick Saturday night.

At around 10:49 PM, an officer on patrol in the 1300 block of West 7th Street noticed a vehicle cross over both center yellow lines and activated his emergency lights.

The vehicle stopped and police say all five occupants were acting suspiciously. Three passengers in the back were shuffling back and forth in their seats as if they were trying to hide something.

A police canine was called to the scene, and indicated the presence of drugs. . A search of the vehicle netted a loaded Ruger nine millimeter handgun, marijuana and amphetamines.

All five occupants were arrested. They are:
