The case remains under investigation.
Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation of a shooting at a residence along Linganore Road this week, but authorities say the victim has been released from the hospital.
Deputies were dispatched to Frederick Memorial Hospital Wednesday morning, March 6th at 11:25 after a man came in with a gunshot wound. They also responded to the victim’s home in the 7100 block of Linganore Road, and detained another man without incident.
Detectives say they interviewed everyone in the home, and learned that a disagreement at the house turned physical. The shooting victim approached the other man and his wife with a blunt object.
A search warrant was served on the residence and evidence was recovered.
No charges have been filed as of yet in the case.
