Fire Damages Vacant House In Finksburg

The cause is under investigation.

 

Finksburg, Md (KM) A one-alarm fire damaged a vacant house in Finksburg on Wednesday afternoon.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says 30 fire fighters from the Gamber and Community Fire Company   responded to 2923 Hughes Road at 12:58 PM, and spent 30-minutes bringing the flames under control. Three fire fighters suffered minor injuries. They were evaluated at the scene, but refused transport to the hospital.

Damage to the two-story, single family home is estimated at $60,000 to the structure. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The home is owned by Estate of Melvin and Barbara Bosley, according to the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
