Suspect In February Assault In Middletown In Custody

He was extradited from WV on Wednesday.

 

Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a West Virginia man in connection with an assault and robbery in Middletown last month. Kenneth Sterling Dillow, 24, of Kearneysville,  is charged with 1st-degree assault, 2nd-degree assault, robbery, reckless endangerment and theft from $100 to $1500.

Authorities say on February 11th at 12:15 AM, a deputy at the Middletown Volunteer Fire Company was approached by an individual who had been injured in an assault. He was transported to Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, and then to University of Maryland Shock Trauma in Baltimore for treatment.

Detectives responded and learned that the victim had been assaulted and robbed at his home in the 1800 block of Marker Road in Middletown. After gathering information at the scene and speaking with the victim, they identified Dillow as the suspect.

The Sheriff’s Office tried to locate Dillow the night of the assault, but were not successful. However, detectives filed for charges and an arrest warrant was issued.

Dillow was located at his residence in Kearneysville on February 26th, and was extradited back to Frederick County on Thursday, March 21st. He’s currently being held at the Adult Detention Center.
