The suspected pipe bomb was found Sunday
Frederick, Md. (DG) – The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office detonated a possible pipe bomb on Sunday.
At about 4:00 PM authorities responded to a wooded area off of Meadow Road in Frederick for a pipe bomb.
The suspected pipe bomb was safely detonated at about 7:00 PM.
Police say there is no danger to the public.
