Two fire fighters suffered minor injuries.
Wolfsville, Md (KM) Damage is estimated at $175,000 from a house fire Sunday afternoon in the Wolfsville area.
Frederick County fire officials say fire and rescue units were dispatched to the 12,000 block of Gambrill Park Road shortly after 2:00 PM, and saw a two-story single family log home fully involved in flames.. A tanker task force was dispatched to provide water.
It took 40 fire fighters 45-minutes knock down the bulk of the fire. The wind driven fire also set a nearby wooded area on fire, and that too had to be extinguished.
The homeowner was home at the time, and was able to get out without injury.
Two fire fighters suffered minor injuries; one was transported to the hospital and later released.
The County Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
