Suspect Arrested In New Windsor Murder

The victim suffered blunt force trauma.

 

New Windsor, Md. (KM) A New Windsor man has been charged with 2nd-degree murder and 1st-degree assault in connection with the death of a woman last year. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office says Nicholas Dolly, 23, was taken into custody over the weekend..

On May 12th, 2018 at around 12:53 PM, deputies and medics were dispatched to a home in the 1400 block of Greenwood Church Road in New Windsor for a 55-year-old woman with a medical emergency. Teresa Drury was taken to Carroll Hospital Center and later to the University of Maryland Medical Center.. She passed away  on May 16th, 2018.

An autopsy ruled Drury’s death a homicide due to blunt force trauma.

Dolly was identified as the suspect. He was arrested last Saturday, March 30th, 2019.
