The victim had her wallet stolen while loading groceries into her car.
Thurmont, Md. (DG) – A Frederick woman was arrested for snatching a wallet from another woman on Sunday.
Thurmont Police responded to the Weis around 6:45 p.m. and were told by the viictim that her wallet was stolen from her purse when she loading groceries into her car.
She gave a good description to officers of the suspect who took her wallet. A deputy found the woman walking along Catoctin Furnance Road and took her into custody.
Dawn Marie Tobery, 35, has been charged with theft and making a false statement of identity.
Tobery is also wanted by Maryland State Police for an outstanding warrant.
