This position includes technical design of roof and floor systems using proprietary engineering software and working as part of a sale and design team. Employee will prepare truss designs and layout drawings from simple architectural plans, from previous jobs, or from information developed by a Technical Truss salesperson. Employee may often revise layout and design drawings for projects that are similar to previous work in addition to structural wood products and accessory items supplied by the company. Employee will assure the stability, deflection and load carrying capabilities as required to meet or surpass the codes associated with each project.
