Westminster, Md (KM) The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office is looking for a vehicle linked in an arson in Carroll County.

Investigators say fire fighters were dispatched on Sunday morning, April 7th to a shed fire at 1025 Tracey Meadows Drive in Westminster. They were able to put out the flames, but the shed was destroyed. Damage is estimated at $10,000. Investigators determined the cause of the fire to be arson.

Surveillance video at the scene showed a truck, possibly a light colored Toyota Tacoma, 2005-2014 model year, leaving the scene with two individuals inside. Authorities say the truck had items reported stolen from the shed: six pressure washers, a push lawn mower, and hand and power tools.

Deputy Fire Marshals say the same vehicle was reported in the 1200 block of Emerald Ridge Road in Westminster, where a trespassing, burglary and theft were reported.

Anyone who has information on any of these incidents is asked to contact the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office Northeast Regional Office at 410-836-4844, or the State Police Barrack in Westminster at 410-386-3000.
