FREDERICK, MD. The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for the Frederick area starting at noon today, through 5 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2019.
The City of Frederick reminds the public to help prevent flooding by clearing storm drains and to be alert for known high water areas.
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
