State Police say the driver was not at fault.
Hagerstown, Md (KM) One lane of southbound Interstate 81 near Halfway Boulevard in Washington County was closed for three hours Tuesday morning following a tractor trailer crash.
State Police say at around 6:48 AM, the driver of a Volvo Tractor hauling a bulk trailer with dry cement was traveling in lane two when the front tire blew out, causing the rig to veer to right side and overturnĀ over the guardrail, coming to rest on its side.
The driver identified as Joseph Klemczak, 62 of Lehighton, Pennsylvania was trapped, but was able to get out of the truck after rescue crews removedĀ part of the cab.
Troopers say the driver was not at fault, and was not charged in any violations.
