The victim was identified as 59 year old James Russell Baker, Jr.
Frederick, Md. (DG) – Frederick Police are investigating an accident that turned deadly on Sunday.
Officers responded to Schifferstadt Blvd. and Mohican Dr. shortly after 8 a.m. for an accident with injury.
Police found a green Nissan Sentra had left the roadway and struck a light pole. The male driver, who police identified as 59 year old James Russell Baker, Jr., from Frederick, Md., sustained major injuries and was taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The accident remains under investigation.
