Emergency Worker Injured In Carroll County House Fire

The flames damaged a two-unit apartment building.

 

Westminster, Md (KM) One emergency worker suffered a laceration to the hand during a house fire in Westminster early Saturday morning. Paramedic/Fire Fighter Seth Robinson was taken to Carroll Hospital Center where he was treated and released.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says units responded to a two-unit apartment building at 106 East Green Street shortly after midnight, and spent 30-minutes bringing the flames under control. Damage is estimated at $40,000 to the structure, and $10,00 to the contents. .

Investigators say the fire originated in the bedroom on the second floor, but the cause has not yet been determined. .

The fire was discovered by a passerby.
