Westminster, Md (KM) The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office and other law enforcement agencies are looking for a man wanted as a person of interest in a homicide which occurred on Friday, May 24th in Cumberland County, Virginia.
George William Knisley, 41, is a resident of Westminster, Maryland. He may be driving a white Honda with Virginia license plates.
Authorities say he may also be responsible for a carjacking in Mecklenburg County in southern Virginia, but no charges have been filed at this time in that incident.
Knisley is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who has information on Knisley’s whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Jason Ehrhart of the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office at 410-386-2499.
