Citizens can dispose of unwanted, expired prescription medications.
Frederick, Md (KM) The Maryland State Police, the Frederick County Division of Fire and Rescue Services, and the local Health Department are holding a Drug Take Back Day this coming Saturday, June 8th. It will take place at the Walkersville Fire Hall, 79 West Frederick Street from 8:00 AM to 12:00 -noon.
Residents can drop off unused and expired prescriptions medications ,and syringes. They can also ask questions about mental health and rehabilitation resources.
If you can’t make it this Saturday, another drop off day will be held on September 28th at the Middletown Fire Hall at Franklin Street, and December 14th at the New Market Fire Hall at 76 West Main Street.
