Senators Cardin,Van Hollen Announce Funds For Fallen Fire Fighters Foundation

It  comes for US Dept. of Justice program.

 

 

Washington DC (KM) The US Department of Justice’s Public Safety Officers’ Benefit Program is providing $2.3-million to the National Fallen Fire Fighters Foundation in Emmitsburg. That’s according to a news release from Senators Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen.

The two Maryland lawmakers say the funds will support a variety of projects that impact fire fighters and fire departments around the country. That includes counseling to training and survivor services. The funds will also support the National Fallen Fire Fighters Memorial Weekend in Emmitsburg every October.
