Sobriety Check Point Planned for Saturday In Frederick

Impaired drivers face jail time, fines, fees, DUI classes, license suspensions,and other expenses that can exceed $10,000.


Frederick, Md (DG) – Maryland State Police will be conducting a sobriety check point on Saturday,June 8, 2019, in the area of Route 15 southbound at Route 340 westbound.

Their goal is to deter drivers from getting behind the wheel after consuming alcoholic beverages, and to educate the public on the dangers of drunk driving. They will also be looking for impaired drivers.
