History Made During Woodsboro Election

Dana Crum became first woman elected for office for the town

Woodsboro, Md (DG) – History has been made in Woodsboro, Md. as the first woman is elected to office.

During the recent election for town commissioners, Dana Crum received 39-votes, and became the first woman elected to office for Woodsboro.

There were 847 eligible voters and 71 cast ballots.

John Cutshall received 43 votes, Carl Piechowski had 23 votes, and Heath Barnes 16 votes.

Crum and Cutshall will be sworn into office on June 11, 2019.
