Hagerstown, Md. (DG) – She’s off to Miss America! Miss Allegany County, Caitlyn Stupi, was crowned Miss Maryland 2019 on Saturday night at the Maryland Theatre.
The Westminster resident received the top interview award before she was crowned. She also won preliminary talent and evening wear/social impact statement awards during Miss Maryland week.
Miss Western Maryland’s Outstanding Teen, Emily Yi, was crowned Miss Maryland’s Outstanding Teen 2019.
Yi also won the top talent award on Saturday night along with a preliminary talent award.
She will be competing for Miss America’s Outstanding Teen later this summer.
