Hagestown, Md (KM) A tractor trailer crash Tuesday morning in Washington County left one person dead.
State Police in Hagerstown say at around 8:45 AM, a big rig operated by Juan Carl Rondon, 45, of Hamilton, New Jersey was traveling northbound on Interstate 81 near Maugansville when the vehicle overturned, blocking all lanes. Rondon was pronounced dead at the scene.
The highway was closed until 1:00 PM while state troopers conducted their investigation.
Authorities say the accident is still under investigation, but intoxication and distracted driving do not appear to be factors in this crash.
