Police arrest suspect in Hagerstown shooting
Hagerstown, Md. (DG) – Hagerstown police have arrested a man in shooting that left the victim in critical condition Monday morning on Suter Ave.
Officers say 36 year old Donteau Jennings and 27 year old tWilliam Scales shot at each other and then ran from the scene.
Scales is listed in critical, but stable condition at Meritus Medical Center.
Jennings was arrested several hours after the shooting and charged with attempted 2nd degree murder, 2nd degree assault, and reckless endangerment. He
is currently being held without bond.
Charges against Scales are pending.
