City To Hold Open House On Draft Strategic Plan

Citizens can view the plan, make comments, ask questions.

 

 

Frederick, Md. (KM) The public is invited an open house on Tuesday, July 16th from 12:00 Noon until 8:00 PM on the City of Frederick’s draft 2030 Strategic Plan.

The document will guide improvements to the city over the next ten years,and will direct budgeting, set priorities for city government and assign specific tasks to city departments.

The Open House will be at the Municipal Annex at 140 West Patrick Street. During that time, the draft vision, goals, objectives and action items will be on display. Chief Administrative Officer Marc DeOcampo and other staff will be present to receive comments, and answer questions. Comment cards will be available, and citizens can e-mail their comments to the Mayor’s Office at [email protected].

Residents can also read over the work done so far on the strategic plan. .Check the city’s website at www.cityoffrederick.com.

“In this plan, we aspire to carry out a vision that reflects the public’s highest priorities, as I committed doing from the start,” said Mayor Michael O’Connor, in a statement.
