Eldersburg, Md (KM) One person was injured in a shooting Wednesday morning in Eldersburg.
The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office says at 5:16 AM, deputies were dispatched to the Daltile home furnishing store at 1470 Progress Way to investigate reports of gunshots. When they arrived, they found an adult male employee suffering from gunshot wounds. He was medivaced to Shock Trauma.
Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit as well as Forensic Services Technicians responded to the scene to conduct an investigation. At this time, they say the shooting does not appear to be random, and there’s no indication of any further threats to the community.
