Damaging winds brought down poles and trees
Frederick, Md (DG)- Storm storms that rolled through the Frederick region Sunday evening left behind damage.
A severe thunderstorm warning on Sunday was issued for parts of Frederick, Washington, Berkeley, Jefferson Counties after 6 PM.
Powerful wind gust from the storms brought down numerous poles and trees. Heavy rainfall was also reported.
Department of public works employees are working to clean up the debris. There are a number of roads blocked due to downed trees and poles.
