Frederick, Md (KM) The severe storm which came through the Frederick area on Sunday evening brought down trees and tree limbs. City officials say if any storm debris landed on your property, you need to cut them up to no more than six-feet in length, and place them outside for your normal yard waste collection day.

If you notice utility lines which came down, don’t touch them; call Potomac Edison and report it at 1-888-LIGHTSS. .

Because the area is under a flash flood watch, residents are urged to make sure all storm drains are clear of debris. And report all downed trees and limbs on city property to the Public Works Department at 301-600-1440.
