Frederick, Md (KM) Anyone interested in working for the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office is invited to attend an orientation on Tuesday, August 20th at the Law Enforcement Center from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
Individuals who want to be Deputy Sheriff Recruits will receive an overview on the application and selection process, and academy training, along with salaries and benefits. They will also learn about various occupations in the Sheriff’s Office such as criminal investigations, narcotics investigations, patrol, SWAT and K-9. There will also be a question and answer session at the end.
The Law Enforcement Center is located at 110 Airport Drive East in Frederick, behind the Motor Vehicle Administration office.
The next hiring process for Deputy Sheriff Recruits opens on September 2nd. The information will be posted at www.frederickcosheriff.com/careers. The Sheriff’s Office says attending the orientation session is not mandatory for anyone who wants to apply to be a Deputy Sheriff Recruit.
