It was closed when a height portal was damaged.
Thurmont, Md (KM) The Frederick County Division of Public Works has reopened Roddy Road near the covered bridge.
The road was closed on August 11th after the height detection portal was damaged by a vehicle. It’s designed to prevent oversize vehicles from crossing the covered bridge.
The historic Roddy Road Covered Bridge was not damaged.
The road was reopened on Friday.
