That area was closed on Monday due to downed power lines & utility poles.
Frederick, Md (KM) Maryland State Police say the intersection of Green Valley Road and Fingerboard Road will remain closed on Tuesday. Troopers say the several power lines and utility poles went down when a powerful storm came through Frederick County on Sunday night.
Potomac Edison crews were at the scene all day, and will be back on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, State Police say the area of Petersville Road and Jefferson Pike has reopened. That intersection was closed earlier on Monday when that same storm brought down power lines and utility poles.
