Accident killed 38-year-old man from Halfway
Hagerstown, Md. (DG) – Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal accident in Washington County.
The accident happened on I-70-westbound at Exit 12 Monday evening around 9:15.
Police reports an F-150 pick up truck traveling at a high speed and attempting to pass another vehicle when the driver lost control. The truck entered the median, hit several trees before bursting into flames.
The driver who died in the crash and was identified as Justin Sproehnle, 38, from Halfway. Md. He was the only person in the vehicle.
Police believe that speeding and reckless driving led to the accident.
