Police Investigate Early Morning Shooting in Frederick

Man is in stable condition

Frederick, Md (DG) – Frederick Police are investigating another shooting in the city.

Early Sunday morning around 1:15 a.m. police responded to reports of gunfire in the area of Fourth and North Market Streets and found an adult male who had been shot several times.

According to a press release, the man was taken to a hospital and is listed in stable condition

Since last weekend, Frederick Police have increased their patrols in areas of the city with a higher potential for gun violence.

Police are continuing to investigate this incident. This is the third shooting since August 31st in Frederick.
