Parents should expect communication from their child’s principal in coming weeks.
Frederick, MD – Frederick County Public Schools will be opening their doors next month to parents of elementary and middle school students for their parent-teacher conferences.
The conferences will be held October 23-25.
Elementary and middle schools on October 23 and 24 will open four hours late, and teachers will hold evening conferences with parents.Students should eat lunch before coming to school.
On October 25, elementary and middle schools will dismiss students 3.5 hours early for afternoon parent-teacher conferences. Students will eat lunch at school before dismissal.
Students enrolled in half-day pre-kindergarten programs will not have school through those dates and High schools are open the full days. Charter school schedules may vary.
Parents are encouraged to schedule times for conferences to learn more about their child’s behavior, performance and classroom.
High schools have no pre-scheduled conference dates. Parents are able to contact teachers at any time to schedule meetings to address concerns.
