Frederick, MD – Two special presentation at the Pry House Field Hospital Museum will be held this Saturday to discuss myths, accomplishments and the truth about different aspects of Civil War history.
Historian and Antietam Battlefield Guide Steve Stotelmyer will lead a presentation at 2PM and will discuss the misconceptions surrounding Major General George McClellan’s image as a “George the Timid.”
Historian and Antietam Battlefield Guide John Michael Priest will present the story of General Mansfield, and his historical tale of being mortally wounded at six different locations on the Antietam Battlefield.
