The charity drive helps people with Muscular Dystrophy Related Illnesses.
Frederick, MD – Frederick Area Fire Fighters are hitting the streets next month to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
The Career Firefighters Association of Frederick County (Local 366) organizes the annual Fill the Boot Drive to raise money for children and adults with muscular Dystrophpy, ALS, and other related diseases.
Local 366 is continuing the 65 year tradition with fire fighters going out into the Frederick area with boots in hand, asking people for donations.
Local 366 raised $22,000 last year and said they plan to raise even more.
The Fill the Boot Drive will occur October 2-5
