Naturalization Ceremony To Be Held In Frederick County In November

About 40 people will become American citizens.

 

Frederick, Md (KM) Up to 40 individuals will become American citizens next month. The Frederick County Human Relations Commission   will hold the 23rd Annual Naturalization Ceremony on Tuesday, November 5th at 11:00 AM in the first floor meeting room at Winchester Hall.

These individuals from dozens of countries will take the Oath of Citizenship.

The event is in partnership with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, and the Human Relations Commission.

“The Human Relations Commission is pleased to be able to continue to organize and host the Naturalization Ceremony,” says HRC Chairperson Mari Lee ,in a statement.. “This event marks an important milestone in the lives of whom we will be celebrating. As they take the oath to become citizens of the United States, their pride and joy is evident and reflects the culmination of personal sacrifice, hard work and determination to make it possible for them to have a better life that includes the rights of freedom their fellow countrymen and women enjoy. It is truly the first day of the rest of their lives, and the Human Relations Commission is honored to celebrate this moment with them and their families.”

The HRC says residents are invited and encouraged to attend this naturalization ceremony.
