Frederick Regional Health System Rebrands Under Simplified Name

The businesses will be consolidated under the name of Frederick Health.

Frederick, MD – The Frederick Regional Health System announced Thursday the consolidation of their business units under a simplified name: Frederick Health.

Frederick Memorial Hospital will be Frederick Health Hospital, Monocacy Health Partners will be Frederick Health Medical Group, Hospice of Frederick County will be Frederick Health Hospice, Corp OHS will be Frederick Health Employer Solutions and FMH Home Health will be Frederick Health Home Care.

Frederick Health President and CEO Tom Kleinhanzl said the name changes will create an easier to understand image of the organization.

“We’ve grown to be much more than [a hospital],” Kleinhanzl said. “We’re trying to make it simpler for people to learn who we are.”

The current “F” logo mark of the organization will be retained, and all current websites will eventually redirect to frederickhealth.org which will go live this fall.

The transition to the new titles has been launched and is expected to be completed in early 2020.

“That word ‘Health’ was very deliberate,” Kleinhanzl said. “We will always be about providing great health care, but at the same time our mission is focused on providing great health.”
