Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick Police have charged a local man in connection with a stabbing Thursday morning. Maurice E. Dotson, 46, is charged with 1st-degree assault, 2nd-degree assault and reckless endangerment
At around 9:45, officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Rosemont Avenue for a stabbing which had just occurred. Authorities say a man was located suffering from injuries consistent with being stabbed. The State Police helicopter landed at a practice field at Frederick High to transport him to the hospital.
Police say they located Dotson short time later in a wooded area behind the location of the incident. He was taken into custody.
