The suspect is the son of the victims.
Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate an assault.
Authorities say they were dispatched late Wednesday night to the 6700 block of Overton Circle in Frederick for reports of a domestic disturbance. When they arrived, they found Osiris Javitt-Romano, 47, and Gloriana Javitt , 44, had significant injuries. Both were medivaced to Shock Trauma in Baltimore where they remain in critical condition.
Salvador Javitt, 19, is the son of the victims and a suspect in the investigation. He is charged with attempted 1st and 2nd degree murder and is being held at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center. Salvador Javitt was denied bail on Friday during a bond hearing
The weapon used in the assault was a baseball bat.
