Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick Police took a man into custody late Friday night following a complaint of drug activity. Melvin Brison, 28, who has no fixed address, is charged with possession of heroin, possession of spice and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. He also charged with resisting arrest and 2nd-degree assault.
Officers say they were dispatched to the unit block of Carroll Creek Way shortly after 11 PM to investigate a complaint of drug activity. When they arrived, they found drugs in plain view. They made contact with Brison, who assaulted an officer and tried to flee on foot. He was taken into custody after a brief struggle.
Brison was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.
