Six Arrests Made In HIDTA Operation In Frederick County

Large quantity of cash, drugs, weapons confiscated.

 

Frederick, Md (KM) A number of arrests were made on Wednesday morning following an anti-drug operation in Frederick County. The Sheriff’s Office says law enforcement personnel from the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Group served  warrants on nine locations in the Frederick and Brunswick areas. They were:

1100 block of Key Parkway, Frederick (2 apartments)

400 block of Terry Court, Frederick (2 residences)

1300 block of Taney Avenue, Frederick (1 apartment)

1400 block of Baker Place W, Frederick (1 apartment)

6000 block of Sandpiper Ct, Frederick (1 residence)

N Maryland Ave, Brunswick (1 apartment)

1000 block Heather Ridge Drive, Frederick (1 apartment)

 

The suspects who were arrested are:

 

1.) Abdul Rauf Bakre Parker, 33, of Frederick
Possession of paraphernalia
Possession, cocaine
Poss. w/ intent to distribute cocaine
Distribution of cocaine www.frederickcosheriff.com

Poss. w/ intent to distribute cocaine within 1000ft of school zone
Distribution of cocaine within 1000ft of school zone
Possession of a regulated stolen firearm
Possession of short barreled rifle
Theft of Assault Rifle, value more than $1500
Unlawful Possession of Assault Weapon
Unlawful Possession of magazine w/capacity of more than 10 rounds

2. Altonia Manley, 29, of Frederick
Possession of Cocaine
Poss. w/ intent to distribute cocaine
Possession of paraphernalia
Possession of a regulated firearm after conviction of drug crime
Possession of a regulated firearm after conviction of disqualifying crime
Possession of a firearm in relation to drug trafficking crime (9mm)
Possession of a firearm in relation to drug trafficking crime (.38 cal)

3. Javel Marqueth George, 25, N. Maryland Ave, Brunswick
Outstanding warrant: 1st degree assault
Possession of crack/cocaine
Poss. w/ intent to distribute crack/cocaine
Possession of paraphernalia

4. Preston Patrick Oxendine, 23, of Hagerstown
Possession, marijuana +10 grams
Poss. w/ intent to distribute marijuana
Poss. w/ intent to distribute marijuana in a school zone
Firearm nexus to drug trafficking crime
Possession of stolen regulated firearm
Possession of high capacity magazine, assault weapon/magazine use
Use of firearm in commission of a felony

5. Asia Monet Sanders, 20, of Frederick
Possession of crack/cocaine
Poss. w/ intent to distribute crack/cocaine
Possession of paraphernalia

6. Thomas Alan Herring, 30, of Frederick
Possession of firearm related to drug trafficking crime
Possession of firearm related to drug trafficking crime
Poss. w/ intent to distribute cocaine
Possession of cocaine

 

Items confiscated from the nine locations were during the search and seizure operation:

1.) Approximately $7513.00 U.S. Currency

2.) Century 9mm handgun, loaded

3.) Inter Arms .38 special revolver, loaded

4.) Glock 17 9mm (stolen), loaded

5.) AR-15 rifle (stolen)

6.) Multiple 30 – 40 round AR magazines (stolen)

7.) Body armor (stolen)

8.) 60 grams marijuana

9.) 94.7 grams of Crack Cocaine

Spokeswoman Taylor Clarke with the Sheriff’s Office says this operation was conducted by the Sheriff’s Office and other law enforcement agencies who are part of HIDTA. “So HIDTA is the Frederick High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Group. And it consists of us at the Sheriff’s Office, Frederick City Police, Maryland State Police, Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the Montgomery County Police Department,” she says.

Clarke says the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigation Section is committed to combating illegal possession and distribution of illicit narcotics in Frederick County.
