Hagerstown, Md (KM) Fire fighters in Washington County spent much of Tuesday morning battling a building fire.
Personnel from the Longmeadow Volunteer Fire Company were dispatched to Complete Car Care at 19914 Leisterburg Pike at around 6:33 AM, and spent more than an hour bringing the flames under control . No one was injured.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says theĀ damage estimateĀ is $300,000 to the structure, and $200,000 to the contents.
Investigators say the fire originated near a vehicle lift. The cause remains under investigation.
There were five vehicles is the garage at the time of the fire.
The Maryland Department of the Environment responded to the scene for any oil runoff assessment.
